Laura, this is a great article, I'm really glad you found one so specific! I think it's a great idea that more and more restaurants and QSR's are turning to the idea of posting their nutritional information, besides the fact that there is a law pending!
ReplyDeleteAccording to the article, it looks as though owners, managers, and chefs are realizing this recent fad, maybe even soon to be trend, happening in the industry. They perceive that if their guests want a healthy option and their menu does not offer anything healthy, they won't be serving those guests. The more a restaurant and QSR offers their patrons, the more business they will do.
I like how this article also talks about Taco Bell's Fresco Menu and Starbucks new skilly lattes because we talked so much about those in our presentation and during our group meetings!
