I found this real great article on "picky eaters". When I was a kid I was the pickiest eater ever. I know my parents struggled when they tried to make me eat my vegetables or have at least one apple a day. This article helps parents or guardians with tips and facts to lead there kids down the right path to healthy eating habits.

I think that this is a great article! A lot of parents seem to struggle with getting their children to eat healthy and eat the right amount of what is recommended, especially by the Food Guide Pyramid.
ReplyDeleteThis article doesn't really give parents any ideas on how to help their children eat healthier, it only lays out what they should be eating. I think that over the years, the newer generations of parents have become more lenient toward eating habits with their children. That is a huge reason why our nation is going down the path is it with obesity.
I like how this article suggests a "healthy eating plan" to readers. I think people should print it out to help make meal time(s) easier.
I agree, this is a great article to give parents a jump start to an idea of what their kids should be eating and maybe to give the parents a reality check on what their dinners as well as packed lunches should consist of.
ReplyDeleteHaving child obesity being such a high percent, any way for parents to get advice or tips on how to feed their kids healthier food will be helpful
I think that this article could have been better if it including popular dinners and lunches that parents usually serve and how to sneak in the vegetables and whole grains. It is a good article to explain the amounts and servings of each category on the pyramid that kids should have daily
